Lionel Ehrenworth

Lionel (Lee) Ehrenworth, 84, of Watchung died Oct. 20, 2013.

Dr. Ehrenworth of Elizabeth Medical Associates, Elizabeth, was a board-certified internist and cardiologist with specialties in hematology and oncology until his retirement in 2003. He was affiliated with many New Jersey and New York health-care facilities throughout his career.

He graduated from Belleville High School, Class of ‘46, and graduated from Tulane University, Tulane University Medical School in 1955.

He served in the Marine Corps from 1946 to 1948.

He is survived by his wife, Beth (Sapinkoff-Bass), and her family; four sons, Douglas, Robert, Andrew, and Richard; a brother, Jonathan; a sister, Susan Addelston-Kunken; and two grandchildren.

Services were held Oct. 25 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dr. Lee Ehrenworth Emergency Medical Care Vehicle Fund, c/o Watchung Rescue Squad, 10 Stirling Rd., Watchung, NJ 07069.
