Lillian Wertheimer Stevens

Lillian Wertheimer Stevens, 93, of Rockleigh died June 8, 2017. Born in Vienna, she was raised in Manhattan and later lived in South Orange and Hackensack.

Mrs. Stevens was a member of Temple Sharey Tefilo in East Orange (now Sharey Tefilo-Israel, South Orange) for many years. 

Predeceased by her husband, Edward, she is survived by two daughters, Susan Stevens Tanne of West Orange and Jacqueline Stevens Moskowitz (Ron) DiPietro of Short Hills; a brother; Jules Wertheimer of New York City; and four grandchildren.

Services were held June 11 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to National Council of Jewish Women or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
