Lillian Metsky
Lillian Metsky (August), of Summit died July 30, 2011. Born in Newark, she lived in Summit for 60 years.
Mrs. Metsky was a part-time key punch operator for Kemper Insurance in Summit for 25 years, retiring in 1985.
She was a volunteer for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leslie; three sons, Gordon of Succasunna, Kenneth of Berkeley Heights, and Robert of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; her daughter, Maxine Levine of Berkeley Heights; a brother, Ralph August of Teaneck; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 2 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society.
