Lillian Feldstein
Lillian Lederman Feldstein, 91, of Somerset died April 30, 2015. Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Newark, Maplewood, and Forked River before moving to Somerset three years ago.
Mrs. Feldstein worked for NJ Transit in Maplewood in the Comptroller’s Office for 15 years, retiring in 1985.
She worked in Camp Kilmer during World War II doing clerical work as a civilian and putting on shows at the Officer’s Club.
She graduated from New Brunswick High School.
She was a member of ORT in Newark and active in their choir. She also participated in raising money for the Ruth Estrin Goldberg Memorial for Cancer Research.
Predeceased by her husband, Leon, in 1995, she is survived by two sons, Ronald (Jeri) of Arlington, Va., and Bruce (Regine) of New Hampshire; a daughter, Debra (Dennis) Makarowski of New Jersey; and four grandchildren.
Services were held May 1 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Edison.
