Lillian Berger
Lillian Berger, 85, of Sparta died May 7, 2016. She was formerly of Morris Plains.
Mrs. Berger was retired as an elementary school teacher for the Port Chester, NY, public schools.
She was a member of Hadassah of Morris Plains and the NY state teachers’ union.
Predeceased by her husband, Morton, and a daughter, Allison, she is survived by a daughter, Pamela Gray (Robert Lambert) of Sparta; a sister, Marilyn Hendel of Florida; and a grandson.
Services were held May 10 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Newton.
