Let us choose choice
At a recent meeting with leading New Jersey Republican legislators, it was revealed why the Left keeps gaining momentum, while Conservatives keep losing ground. While a few officials were willing to stand for liberty, and support universal school choice legislation, most were not. The leading Republican in the room revealed why his party could not support equal educational opportunity for the poor and downtrodden. “The majority party will not allow it!”
Our government was designed to respond to the will of the people. If the other party will not allow you to restore liberty and justice, this matter needs to be brought before the people. There is absolutely no doubt that taking this issue before voters, of all stripes and party affiliations, will inspire overwhelming support for the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.
The sixth annual National School Choice Week, Jan. 24-30, 2016, provides every public official and concerned individual the opportunity to rally for freedom, beginning with universal school choice. This will help usher in an era of boundless blessings that can only come from liberty and justice.
