Leonard Stier

Leonard Stier, 74, of Marlboro died Sept. 24, 2012. Born in Romania, he immigrated to Paris and then Toronto before moving to Marlboro in 1980.

Mr. Stier worked as an electrical engineer for AT&T in Holmdel.

He received his BA from the University of Toronto and his MS from Columbia University.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three sons, Daniel Stier of Cockeysville, Md., Scott Adler of Freehold, and Michael Adler of Wynnewood, Pa.; and four grandchildren.

Services were held Sept. 28 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
