Leon Rosenberg
Leon Rosenberg, 93, of Ewing died March 3, 2017. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Morrisville, Pa., for 60 years.
Mr. Rosenberg was the proprietor of Mamie’s Market in Trenton until 1972, and then operated Trenton Glassery until he was 86.
A veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II, serving in the Pacific, he was awarded the American Service, Asiatic Pacific Service, Good Conduct, and World War II Victory medals.
He was a member of Greenacres Country Club, Adath Israel Congregation, Knights of Pythias, and Jewish War Veterans.
Predeceased by his wife, Phyllis A., he is survived by two sons, Joel (Rosemarie) of Morrisville and Seth (Linda) of Broomall, Pa.; his daughter, Alyssa Dowd of Florida; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 5 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House or Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks.
