Leon Pollak

Leon Pollak, 102, of Clark died April 20, 2015. Born in Newark, he resided in Orange for a time before moving to Clark 25 years ago. 

Before his retirement in 1982, Mr. Pollak was employed as the Senior Court Clerk of Essex County for over 20 years. 

He was a graduate of Dana College in Newark and a 1934 graduate of New Jersey Law School. 

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. 

He was a member of B’nai B’rith, Beth O’r Seniors of Clark, and the NJ Bar Association.

Predeceased by his wife, Rose Schechter Pollak, he is survived by his daughter, Sherry Grossman of Clark.

Services were held April 23 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
