Leo Chernev
Leo Chernev, 74, of Old Bridge died March 4, 2015. Born in New York City, he lived in Cranford and Newark before moving to Old Bridge 46 years ago.
Mr. Chernev was the owner of Newark Envelope Company.
He graduated from Cranford High School and attended Buffalo University. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
He spent six years in the Army Reserve.
He was a past member of Congregation Beth Ohr, Old Bridge, and was a member of the Ironbound and Freehold Optimist Clubs, serving as secretary, treasurer, president, and past NJ district governor.
He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Barbara; two daughters, Robin (Martin) Rauchwerk of San Jose, Calif., and Lisa (David) Mansour of Westlake, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
