Lawrence Orenstein
Lawrence Orenstein, 98, of South Orange died Dec. 28, 2014.
Mr. Orenstein was a businessman who played a major role in the ultimate creation of Allied Beverage Group LLC, New Jersey’s largest liquor and wine distributorship.
He was a World War II Air Force captain.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Vita; two daughters, Judy (Eric) Perlmutter and Bonnie (Lee) Feinberg; a sister, Helen Goldman; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Private services were held Dec. 31 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
