Lawrence Arthur
Lawrence Arthur, 89, of Springfield died May 9, 2012.
Mr. Arthur was the retired owner of the United Fixture Corporation, a wholesale restaurant supply business.
He was a veteran and accomplished sailor who captained his own 30-foot sloop.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his son, Randy; his daughter, Andrea Shapiro; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 13 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels, Cedar Grove.
