The paternal grandparents are Ellen and Robert Lazer of Livingston. The maternal great-grandfather is Bernard Neaman of Pittsburgh. Benjamin Seth is named in memory of his paternal great-grandfather Benjamin Blecher, paternal great-grandfather Samuel Lazer, and paternal great-grandmother Sadie Lazer. Hannah Miriam is named in memory of her maternal great-grandmother Helen Jacobs, maternal great-grandmother Anna Neaman, and paternal great-grandmother Marion Blecher.
