The paternal grandparents are Jaimee and Bruce Baumgarten of North Caldwell. The maternal great-grandfather is Max Pilger of Monroe Township. The paternal great-grandmother is Loretta Burack of Livingston. Jax Brody is named in memory of his maternal great-grandmother Doris Pilger and his paternal great-grandmother Dorothy Baumgarten.
