Lasting impression
I was thrilled to see a picture of Rabbi Prinz on the front page of your newspaper (March 24). I have such fond memories of him, especially since he taught my confirmation class of 26 girls in 1943. He was our teacher every Sunday and I even remember him taking all of us for ice cream once in a while.
Rabbi Prinz’s sermons were so special to me as a young teenager that even after confirmation I would walk the approximately two miles each way every week to B’nai Abraham in Newark to hear his stirring sermons. What a special human being he was, and what a lasting impression he made on me, a memory that has lasted all these years.
