KORMAN-ASHMAN
Marilyn and Hezi Korman of Springfield announce the engagement of their son, Andrew, to Emily Ashman, daughter of Chavi and Gary Ashman of Skokie, Ill.
Dr. Korman, a graduate of Solomon Schechter Day School, now Golda Och Academy, in West Orange, earned degrees at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and Sackler School of Medicine in Israel. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York City, and following a term as chief resident, he is completing a fellowship in gastroenterology at Beth Israel.
Ms. Ashman earned her undergraduate degree at Boston University and her law degree at St. John’s University in Queens. She is an attorney on Long Island.
A summer 2014 wedding is planned.
