JVS provides job opportunities
As executive director/CEO of The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey (HFNJ), I read with delight NJJN’s coverage of JVS of MetroWest’s Career Discovery Program in “Clients on autism spectrum get job training at JVS” (May 3).
As a funder who provided seed money for this program with grants totaling more than $185,000 between 2011 and 2013, we at HFNJ are very pleased to read about the success it is enjoying and the possibilities it is opening for young men and women who might otherwise not be able to find employment. Those job possibilities are myriad when we concentrate on a person’s strengths instead of their weaknesses.
