Julius Kessler

Julius Kessler, 94, of Monroe Township died Dec. 30, 2011, at Greenwood House, Ewing. Born in Newark, he resided in Union before moving to Monroe 20 years ago.

Prior to retiring in 1991, Mr. Kessler was a salesman for Burry Biscuit in New Jersey and then Quaker Oats.

He attended college with a focus in advertising and drafting.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served from 1943 to 1946.

He was a member of B’nai B’rith and was part of Workmen’s Circle.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Arline Fechtner Kessler; his daughter, Paula Adler of Yardley, Pa.; and two grandsons.

Services were held Jan. 3 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House, Ewing.
