Julius J. Hafitz
Julius J. Hafitz, 89, of Titusville died Dec. 14, 2010. Born in Russia, he was a former Trenton resident.
Dr. Hafitz was a general practitioner of medicine with his brother over 55 years before retiring. He was affiliated with St. Francis Medical Center.
He was a graduate of Yale University and Hahnemann Medical College.
He was a member of the Yale Alumni Association and Greenacres Country Club, Lawrenceville.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Samuela Perlman Hafitz; two sons, Michael of Millwood, NY, and Andrew of New York City; two daughters, Rebecca Hull of Bernardsville and Jeremie Hafitz Ross of Glen Ridge; a brother, George of Lido Beach, Fla.; a sister, Edith Gordon of Princeton; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 16 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be offered to Greenwood House or the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey.
