Judith Grossman, 64, of New York City died May 21, 2011. Born in Jersey City, she lived in North Arlington before moving to New York City 35 years ago.
Ms. Grossman was a teacher, retiring many years ago.
She was a graduate of Hollins College, Roanoke, Va., with a BA in political science; Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, with an MA in creative writing; and Brown University, Providence, RI, with an MA in English.
Predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Sylvia Grossman, she is survived by her sister, Wendy Grossman of Manalapan.
Services were held May 23 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
