Judith Ackerman
Judith Ackerman, 71, of Tinton Falls died Jan. 8, 2013. Born in Detroit, she lived in West Long Branch for 20 years before moving to Tinton Falls five years ago.
Dr. Ackerman was a clinical psychologist in Allenhurst for more than 20 years.
She received a BA and MSW from the University of Michigan, and a PhD from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and was an officer of the Monmouth Ocean County Psychological Association and a member of Monmouth County Junior League.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Jerald Schreiber; her stepchildren, Ariella Schreiber Stoegemann and Melissa Bell; two grandchildren; her brother, Alan Ackerman of Michigan; and her sister, Tamara Ackerman of California.
Services were held Jan. 10 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
