Joseph Greenhouse

Joseph H. Greenhouse, 93, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Nov. 6, 2015. He was born and raised in Newark and lived in Irvington, Union, and Freehold before moving to Florida in 1978, residing in Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton before moving to his latest residence 15 years ago.

Mr. Greenhouse was employed as a photographer, Electrolux salesman, and electrician. During his many years with Electrolux, he received numerous awards as one of the top salesmen in the country and earned several prize trips around the world.

He was a photographer in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

Predeceased in 2008 by his wife of 60 years, Sally (Gabel), he is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Howard) Weiss of West Orange and Gail (Steve) Jacobson of Ft. Lauderdale; and two granddaughters.

Services were held Nov. 10 with arrangements by Menorah Gardens and Funeral Chapels, Southwest Ranches, Fla. An honor guard from Homestead Air Force Base in Florida attended the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Denville.
