Joseph Franzone

Joseph Franzone, 93, of Iselin died Sept. 13, 2011. Born in New York City, he resided in Union before moving to Iselin 50 years ago.

Mr. Franzone was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 3, Queens, for many years. He retired 28 years ago.

He was a veteran of the U.S. armed forces.

He was a former member of Congregation Beth Shalom, Iselin.

Predeceased by his wife, Jean (Ackerman), he is survived by his daughter, Cindy Ull of Edison; his son, Raymond of Clifton Park, NY; a brother, Peter of Queens; and four grandchildren.

Services were held Sept. 14 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
