JODY and DAVID STERN

A son, Max (Mordechai) to JODY and DAVID STERN of New York City on Sept. 25, 2012. The grandparents are Adeline and Dr. Arthur Thomas of Hillsborough, Calif., and Joanne and Bill Stern of Metuchen. Max is named in memory of his paternal great-grandfather Max Tischler.

The couple also has a daughter, Penelope Rebecca.
