Jodi Yeskel
Jodi Yeskel of West Orange died July 18, 2014.
Ms. Yeskel was a social worker who worked with clients ranging from the mentally ill, to senior citizens with health problems, and homeless individuals.
She graduated from Millburn High School, where she led the girls’ varsity soccer team, among other athletic accomplishments. She graduated from Ithaca College and received a master’s degree in social work from New York University.
She is survived by her parents, Barry and Jill Yeskel of West Orange; a brother, Bill Yeskel of Tokyo; a nephew, Isaac Yeskel; and her grandmothers, Miriam Hendler of Great Neck, NY, and Evelyn Yeskel of Jupiter, Fla.
Services were held July 20 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jodi Yeskel Foundation, 1 Fowler Drive, West Orange, NJ 07052.
