Jill Bernstein Welsh, 54, of Highland Park died June 24, 2013. She was born in New Brunswick.
Mrs. Welsh began her career as a buyer for Bamberger’s/Macy’s in Menlo Park. She went on to become a pioneering woman in digital business management communications, working as a systems analyst for Becton Dickinson and Nabisco.
She was a graduate of Highland Park High School in 1977 and Rutgers University in 1981.
She was a member of the Raritan Valley chapter of Hadassah and Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, New Brunswick.
She is survived by her mother, Bernice Bernstein (Frant); her daughter, Jaclyn Welsh; her son, Matt Welsh (fiancee Karen Johnson); and two brothers, Andy and Bob Bernstein.
Services were held June 26 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nissenblatt Challah Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
