JFCS to honor Karasic family

BERNIE AND RENÉ Karasic of Deal Park and their daughters Donna Karasic Davidson of Allenhurst and Lisa Karasic of Fair Haven, will be honored at Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) of Monmouth County’s 34th Annual Tribute Dinner.

The event is to be held Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hollywood Golf Club in Deal.

The family members are being recognized for their ongoing contributions of time and funds to a range of community organizations.

JFCS president Jonathan Goldsmith Cohen said, “If ever there was a family that embodied the spirit of tzedakah and all that our mission stands for, it is the Karasic family. Their altruism and involvement in Jewish causes is an integral part of their lives.”

Honorary chairs of the event are Mindy and David Estin, Nancy and Doug Roberts, Betty and Charles Weissman, and Jane and Mark Wilf.
