Jewish peer leadership program now accepting applications
GESHER LEKESHER, a program of Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County (JFCS), partially funded by the Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks, is accepting applications from rising juniors and seniors for the 2019-2020 peer leadership program.
As Gesher “madrichim” (peer leaders), teens will lead a group of 7th-9th grade “talmidim” (learners) in programs addressing trending topics from a Jewish perspective such as friendships, social media’s impact, peer pressure, healthy dating relationships, and anti-Semitism on campus.
Gesher LeKesher participants meet six hours each month. Visit jfcsonline.org/gesher-lekesher or contact Celeste Albert at 609-987-8100, ext. 210, or celestea@jfcsonline.org.
