Jerome H. Beller, 89, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died April 17, 2011. Born in Newark, he also lived in Livingston for 51 years.
Mr. Beller was president of Beller Electric Company and later entered the menswear industry.
He was a graduate of Weequahic High School in Newark and New York University.
He was a World War II veteran, serving four years in the South Pacific.
He was a former president of Children’s Aid and Adoption Society of New Jersey. He was a member of Moselem Springs Golf Club, American Jewish Committee, and Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy (Greenhall); a son, David of Warren, RI; his daughter, Kathryn Stanton of Miami; and four grandchildren.
Services were held April 21 with arrangements by Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels, Delray Beach.
