Jean Feather

Jean Feather of Short Hills died Sept. 9, 2012. After immigrating to the United States from London, she lived in New York City; Winter Park, Fla.; Queens; and Long Island. She lived in Short Hills for 13 years.

Mrs. Feather worked as a bookkeeper for Sheppy’s in Merrick, Long Island, for many years, retiring more than 15 years ago.

She was a member of the Millburn Senior Citizens Association, the Friday Friends of Millburn, and Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael of Springfield’s Hazak group.

She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Davret; two sons, Harrison and Mitchell; a sister, Zilli Podgorney; two granddaughters; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Services were held Sept. 10 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Care or the Arthritis Foundation.
