Jannet Foxman Horowitz, 90, of Monroe Township died April 17, 2013. Born in Camden, she lived in Linden for many years until moving to Monroe in 1997.
Mrs. Horowitz was a secretary at the Linden Board of Education for many years, as well as at companies such as Hygrade Ballpark Franks, where she met her husband.
She volunteered for various charities over the years, including Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, and the American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Survivors Group.
Predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Murray, in 2004, she is survived by her daughter, Amy Smith; her son, Gary; and two grandsons.
Services were held April 19 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.
