Janet Gurland

Janet Gurland, 96, of Maplewood died Aug. 28, 2014. Born in Newark, she lived in Bayonne before moving to Maplewood 20 years ago.

Mrs. Gurland was a longtime member of Maplewood Country Club and Temple B’nai Abraham in Livingston. 

Predeceased by her husband, Bernard, she is survived by her son, Keith (Bonnie); her daughter, Gwen Avrut; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 31 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
