James Schneider
James E. Schneider of Monroe Township died Feb. 14, 2013. He was formerly of Fords.
Mr. Schneider was a master machinist and gunsmith for Joe K’s Gun Shop in Perth Amboy for many years.
He was a 1976 graduate of Woodbridge Vocational School.
He was a member of Friendship Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Thomaston, Maine. He was also a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 44 in Sewaren and the National Rifle Association.
Predeceased by his father, Gerald, and his brother Frederic in 1975, he is survived by his mother, Judith Schneider of Monroe; two brothers, Kenneth of Hudson, Fla., and Bennett of Asbury Park; and a niece, Hannah Schneider.
Services were held Feb. 17 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beit Shalom, Monroe; or Chabad House, 352 Applegarth Road, Monroe.
