Jacquelin Richman

Jacquelin Richman (Sobel), 83, of Margate died Jan. 10, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, she resided in Edison for 38 years before retiring to Tamarac, Fla., in 1988 and moving to Margate several years ago.

Mrs. Richman, known as “Jackie” by her friends, once sang on the radio as a child star on the “Horn & Hardart’s Children’s Hour” in Philadelphia. Throughout her life, she maintained her love of music, singing, and dance. For many years she was very active in community theater and musicals.

Predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Stanley, in 2006, she is survived by three daughters, Gail (Joe) Schlafer, Carol Richman, and Denis Zadorecki; a brother, Jay Sobel; and two grandchildren.

Services were held Jan. 13 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.
