Jacob Oziel

Jacob (Jack) Oziel, 96, of Highland Park died Dec. 14, 2012. He was born in New Brunswick and lived in Highland Park since 1954. 

Mr. Oziel owned and operated Mojax’s Upholster from 1948 until his retirement in 1985. 

A longtime member of Congregation Etz Ahaim, Highland Park, where he served on the board of trustees, he volunteered at the Central Jersey Jewish Home for the Aged in Somerset. He was a member of the ODD Fellows Halvesha Lodge. 

Predeceased by his wife, Bella “Bailie” (Cohen) in 2011, and his daughter, Rhonda, in 2001, he is survived by two sons, David (Susan Yaffe) of Rockville, Md., and Dennis (Elinore) of North Brunswick; a sister, Mary Naar of Monroe; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 16 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the O.G.C.C./Rhonda’s Club, PO Box 12504, Arlington, VA 22219.
