Jack Wiener

Jack Wiener of Columbus died Feb. 20, 2012. He was formerly of Matawan. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in the Bronx and Matawan for over 20 years before moving to Columbus over 20 years ago.

Mr. Wiener was a supervising agent for the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, which awarded him the Meritorious Service Award.

He attended Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.

He is survived by his wife, Renee (Lichtenstein); his daughter, Susan Wohl of North Potomac, Md.; two sons, Stephen of Scotch Plains and Richard of Millstone Township; and four grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 22 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053; or Hadassah.
