Jack Silverman, 89, of Verona died March 22, 2019. Born and raised in Newark, he moved to West Orange after his marriage, living there for 35 years before moving to Verona.
Mr. Silverman worked in commercial real estate for many years.
Predeceased by his wife, Lorraine, in 1987, he is survived by his companion of the last 20 years, Rochelle; four daughters, Karen (Bob) Seyferth, Lynn (Jack) Blind, Shelli (Rob) Brenner, and Beth (Lou) Verrone; a brother, Will; a sister, Bertha; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 24 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to B’nai Shalom, West Orange; or Chabad of West Orange, 401 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, N.J. 07052.
