Jack Kindler
Jack Kindler, 89, of Upper Montclair died May 3, 2016. He was born and grew up in Passaic. He also spent more than 50 summers in Nantucket, Mass.
Dr. Kindler practiced medicine as a dermatologist for more than 40 years.
He graduated from Duke University and Duke University Medical School, in both cases with honors.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant from 1954 to 1956.
Predeceased by a daughter, Dara, in 2007, he is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Carol Ann; his son, Jeff; a daughter, Beth Lloyd-Thomas; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held May 5 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Nantucket Cottage Hospital, Massachusetts.
