Jack Gardner

Jack M. Gardner, 91, of West Orange died Dec. 2, 2013. Born in Newark, he was a resident of Union before moving to West Orange in 1993.

Before his retirement in 1987, Mr. Gardner was the owner/manager of Jersey Auto Accessories in North Plainfield for over 35 years.

He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II from 1941 to 1946.

He was a member and vice president of the Summit Numismatics Club and was active in the Senior Citizen Group of Livingston.

Predeceased by his wife, Selma (Levy), he is survived by two sons, Douglas of Roseland and Lawrence of West Orange, and two grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 3 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
