Ivan Keness
Ivan Arthur Keness, 75, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Nov. 12, 2014. Born in Newark, he resided in Livingston before moving to Phoenix in 1999.
For many years before his retirement in 1990, Mr. Keness was the owner/operator of West Hudson Auto Parts in Kearny.
He earned his BA in business administration from University of Vermont.
He was a member of Temple Emanu-El in Livingston and its men’s club and the New Jersey Jobbers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Stein); his daughter, Sheryl (David) Raport of Randolph; his son, Andrew of Locust Grove, Va.; a sister, Nancy Keness of New York City; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 16 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
