Israel’s boycott ban
Free speech is fine as long does not incite to riot (“The Wrong Battle,” July 14).
This boycott is necessary in Israel, which needs to be unified at the moment since the country is in a fox hole. There is a silent, and sometimes not so silent, war going on in Israel. Fighting can break out any moment if we are too soft. Israel needs to be unified against its enemies. Who are we to talk as we sit comfortably in the United States? And during a war you follow your commander (Israel’s elected leader, Prime Minister Netanyahu).
When the war ends, then let Israelis fight amongst themselves all they want.
