Israeli rights
Stephen Flatow, you are setting a precedent that we may regret (“Dear Israeli voters: a counterpoint,” Sept. 12). Of course Israeli voters have a right to ignore the thoughts of the Americans, just as Americans have a right to ignore the requests from Israel. Will you stand up for the right of the U.S. to turn its back on Israel as strongly as you have stood up for the right of Israel to turn its back on the U.S.? Be careful what you wish for.
