Isaac Joseph Morozowski, 93, of Toms River died Feb. 24, 2016. Born in Poland, he and his family left Europe in the 1930s, escaping the Holocaust. They first settled in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he grew up. He left Argentina in 1964 and came to the United States, first settling in Brooklyn. He later moved to Roseland, then West Orange, and to Toms River approximately eight years ago.
Mr. Morozowski had worked in New York City as a sewing machine mechanic for many years and retired about 30 years ago. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, an AFL-CIO-affiliated local.
Predeceased by his wife, Rebeca (Soquiransky); his daughter, Liliana; and his son, Jaime, he is survived by his daughter-in-law, Fern Morozowski of Normandy Beach, and two grandsons.
Services were held Feb. 26 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
