Irwin Wechsler

Irwin K. Wechsler, 88, of East Brunswick died Oct. 20, 2013. Born in Queens, he resided there before moving to East Brunswick in 1956.

Prior to retiring in 2000, Mr. Wechsler was owner/manufacturing representative of Canterbury Sales, East Brunswick, where he worked for 48 years.

A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, he served during World War II from 1943 to 1945.

He was a charter member and congregant of East Brunswick Jewish Center.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Winter Wechsler; his daughter, Eileen (Michael) Luft of East Brunswick; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at the East Brunswick Jewish Center with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue Force, P.O. Box 418, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.
