Irwin Gluckman
Irwin Gluckman, 93, of Springfield died Dec. 1, 2011. Born in New York City, he lived in Union before moving to Springfield in 2011.
Mr. Gluckman was a self-employed public accountant with Haft & Gluckman Certified Public Accountants, Jersey City, from 1948 until his retirement in 2005.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Congregation B’nai Ahavath Shalom of Union and the Twin Brooks Country Club in Watchung.
Predeceased by his wife Goldie (Futoran), he is survived by two daughters, Susan Lubalin of Briarcliff Manor, NY, and Laura Dempsey of Union; his son, Howard of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 4 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
