Irving D. Falik, 97, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of Union, died May 19, 2018.
Mr. Falik worked for the Treasury Department for 32 years, retiring as the manager of the Newark office in 1979.
He graduated from University of Scranton.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Coast Guard in the North African and Pacific theaters of the war.
He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Md.
Predeceased by his wife, Lila, and a son, Bruce, he is survived by his daughter, Erna (Stuart) Weisbrot of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a son, Jay (Nancy) of Massachusetts; and four grandchildren.
Services were held May 23 with arrangements by Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Dunmore, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, 1107 Vine St., Scranton, Pa.
