Ira Wiesner

Ira Wiesner, 87, of Edison died Feb. 15, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, he had lived in Fords and Lakewood before moving to Edison three years ago.

Mr. Wiesner worked as a retail and wholesale furniture salesman.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946.

He was a member of Congregation Adath Israel in Woodbridge, and later, Neve Shalom in Metuchen.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; his son, Bob; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Services were held Feb. 16 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Home, Edison.
