IDF veterans to visit Central Jersey

THE JEWISH COMMUNITY of Edison/Highland Park/New Brunswick is bringing a unit of IDF combat veterans to New Jersey through the “Peace of Mind” program Nov. 4-11. “Peace of Mind” helps combat vets’ transition to civilian life through group therapy and recreational programs in a supportive diaspora community. This program was developed in Israel after the Second Lebanon War by Metiv, the Israel Psychotrauma Center (
