Ian Harris, 65, of West Caldwell died July 25, 2013. He was born in Brooklyn and was a longtime resident of West Caldwell.
Mr. Harris was employed by the South Bergen Mental Health Center and the Clifton Mental Health Center. During this time, he developed his private practice in psychotherapy, which he maintained in Montclair.
After a brief time at Memphis State, he completed his undergraduate studies at New York Institute of Technology. He obtained his MSW degree in 1977 from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce Musnikow Harris; his daughter, Rachel Harris; and his son, Jonathan Harris.
Services were held July 28 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Agudath Israel Cemetery Association or Congregation Agudath Israel’s Cantor’s Discretionary Fund.
