Regarding Judith Kallman’s opinion piece, “A Holocaust lesson: It starts with bullying” (May 3), I created the film “A Journey into the Holocaust” and its comprehensive teacher’s guide. The New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education has placed a copy of this film in every middle and high school in the state. The film and teacher’s guide is now used by teachers in 44 states.
Educators can obtain, for free, streaming access to the film, the teacher’s guide, and a license to screen the film in their classroom, by registering at ajourneyintotheholocaust.com.
The film addresses why the Holocaust and other genocides occurred, and why genocides will continue to occur. It also addresses bullying. A number of unique Holocaust and genocide resources are also available on this educational website. The film is also available “on demand” on most cable television systems.
